Biggest part of the acreage in Ukraine is in a state far from ideal. For decades, world famous soils subjected to intensive influence of heavy wheeled vehicles, and mercilessly destroyed by receiving unreasonable doses of mineral fertilizers. If we speak about stable high yields and perfect quality, the current situation is unacceptable because farmers become hostages of ancient and no longer efficient technologies. That is why SUFFLE AGRO UKRAINE launched the club of confederate farmers who are willing to work in another way.
We met Samuel Robard, Director of LLC "Souffle Agro Ukraine" in Khmelnytskyi region, in the village of Denysivka, on the fields of LLC Mayak. There was a Field Day organized by "Souffle Agro Ukraine" company, which has held such an event in Denysivka 5th time already.
The company belongs to the Group Soufflet - a French family-based agro-industrial group operating in 18 countries around the world.
The head office of Souffle Agro Ukraine is located not in the capital or in any of the million-inhabitant cities, but in the small town of Slavuta, in Khmelnytskyi region.
Mr. Samuel Robard is a young man who speaks fluent Ukrainian and is well orientated in European and Ukrainian agrarian markets.
Director of “Soufflet Agro Ukraine” – Mr. Samuel Robard has learned Ukrainian language in one year and believes that the main target of agronomist is – caring about soil fertility.
"Young prospective team" – sounds as stereotyped expression but it perfectly suits to the team "Soufflet Agro Ukraine".
Unlikely many companies with foreign capital operating in Ukraine, the French people from “Souffet” permanently stay in Ukraine, literally "stag" in the field and all speak perfect Ukrainian. This may be the reason who they became fully close to Ukrainian farmers.
One of them is 26th years old – Samuel Robard, coming from Nantes city from a family of farmers.
